Picture Perfect Garden!

This photograph, the first place winner in the People, Places and Plants 2006 Photo Contest, shows one of the many garden rooms on the expansive grounds cultivated by Nancy and Al Lenoce. They have a cottage garden, a natural area, a pond with a 30-foot stream, lawns and gardens in the front yard, and a back yard full of garden beds. They have 400 roses and in recent years have opened their grounds for a couple of weekends in June so other garden lovers can enjoy them. (For more photos of the Lenoces' gardens, click here.)
